HIF 20 Individual and Family Living

The March Break is over and we are back tomorrow to begin Unit 2 "Understanding Personal Issues". Mrs. Van Leeuwen will be with us and she will guide you through such topics as:
  • coping skills for daily living
  • conflict resolution
  • healthy relationships
  • coping with harassment and abuse
  • concerns of adolescents
You will also be learning about social science research and the research process as we complete a research study of our own.

There are still some of you who have some items to clear up from Unit 1 and I will remind you individually tomorrow who you are. Here is a list of assignments that you may have to complete:

-one student still has to complete the Unit test from Feb 28
-many of you need to hand in your homework from March 6 (the time schedule where you each planned two of your own days)
-some of you still need to hand in or complete the Resource Assignment from March 6 (Case Study of Michelle)

AND... Remember all of you have a poster or pamphlet assignment due this Thursday. It is about 3 things in Unit one (communication, values, multiple intelligences, resource management, goal setting or decision making)

Here is a copy of the assignment to refresh your memory. Remember you rubric is on the back of your paper copy.
